Indian Brook Park

Indian Brook Park is a 740-acre community park featuring a 60-acre reservoir and more than 6 miles of trails. The White Trail, or inner loop, runs alongside the reservoir, passing five campsite locations, old stone fences, and a beaver pond. This 1.7-mile trail is relatively gradual but experiences a few inclines. The Red and Blue trails connect at the north of the park to form the 3.2-mile outer loop, which is characterized by rocky outcroppings on the east side that overlook Lake Champlain and mixed forests on the west. The outer loop has significantly more elevation change than the inner loop, offering a greater physical challenge. Three connector trails join the inner and outer loops, including the Green Trail which links the northern portion of the inner loop to the northern portion of the outer loop. The Green Trail runs alongside a large beaver pond and offers an excellent overlook. The park is bordered to the northwest by over 600 acres of Winooski Valley Park District land, including Colchester Pond.
