What is Green Up Day?

The Town of Essex participates in Green Up Day on the first Saturday of May each year. Pick up special Green Up bags from the Essex Parks and Recreation Department in the spring of each year. Clean up your neighborhood or pick a road or street to clean up. Place your bags on the side of the road. That's it! The Town Public Works Department will pick up all Green Up bags and dispose of them.
