Indian Brook Campsites #1-5  

Check-in 3pm/Check-out 11am
Approximately Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Carry-in, carry-out. 
No more than five (5) people, regardless of age, may occupy one campsite.
Tent/hammock camping only. 1 tent per campsite as tenting is only allowed on the 12x12 platform.
We do not accept long-term reservations. Max multi-night stay is 7 nights and 7 days.

Indian Brook Pavilion

Rental includes picnic tables located under the pavilion. Rental time includes set up and take down. 

Indian Brook Pavilion can be rented:

B.) 12:30 pm-4:30 pm
C.) 5:00-9:00 pm

Memorial Hall

(Please note, this is a Memorial Hall facility rental request. Our office must approve your request. Please allow 24-48 business hours for our review.) Our online reservation system will not allow you to book with less than 3 days notice. Please call the office.

Rental includes 6 folding tables and 36 folding chairs at 5 Towers Road. About 1,200 feet of open floor space.  Perfect for birthday parties or small celebrations/gatherings.

Additional folding tables and chairs available upon request. $1 per chair, $5 per table.
Rental time includes set up and take down. There are 21 parking spaces available in the parking lot.

The key to Memorial Hall can be picked up at Essex Parks & Recreation no more than 2 days prior to your rental date. Our office is located at 81 Main Street in Essex Junction, with hours Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. 

A $100 deposit is required at the time of key pickup. It will be returned/refunded upon confirming that the facility was returned to its original condition. Trash is carry-in carry-out. Receptacles are provided.

Sand Hill Park Pavilion

(Please note that reservations must be made 3 days in advance of the requested rental date)

Rental includes (5) picnic tables located under the shelter at 208 Sand Hill Road. Rental time includes set up and take down. Additional folding tables and chairs are available upon request. $1 per chair, $5 per table. Single stall ADA accessible family bathroom (with changing table) is open seasonally, approximately late April to mid-October during park hours.

Sand Hill Park Shelter can be rented:
A.) 10:00 am - 2:00pm
B.) 3:00pm - 7:00pm

Sand Hill Pool Shade Butterfly

(Please note that reservations must be made 1 days in advance of the requested rental date)
Rental includes picnic table located under the shade shelter at the pool at 208 Sand Hill Road during the pool season. Rental time includes set up and take down. Pool entrance fee included.

Sand Hill Pool Shade Structure can be rented:
A.) 12:30 pm-2:30pm
B.) 3:00 pm-5:00 pm
C.) 5:30 pm- 7:30 pm

If not rented, the shade structure at the pool is first come, first serve.

* The Town does not allow the use of its facilities for the purposes of political or religious events (e.g., campaign events or religious ceremonies); political or religious organizations may, however, use Town facilities for organizational or business types of events. In addition, the Town does not allow the use of its facilities by for-profit organizations. Allowing an entity to use or rent a Town facility does not constitute the Town’s endorsement of that entity or its cause.

Cancelation Policy:
-All cancellations are subject to a $3.00 cancellation fee
-Cancellations with one week’s notice are eligible for transfer or full refund (less $3.00 cancellation fee)
-Cancellations within 3 days’ notice are not eligible for transfer and are eligible for 50% refund (less $3.00 cancellation fee).
-Cancellation within 24 hours is not eligible for a refund or transfer.
